Tetranite Grenades are an AoE troop weapon in Starhawk that are used to damage both armored targets and infantry alike. They are very versatile, and can do damage to vehicles, structures, and infantry alike. All player start with two grenades at deployment in a Multiplayer match and can pick up more via weapon pick-ups, the max grenade count being three.
Tetranite Grenades are your basic fragmentation grenade, powered by a fictitious material known as tetranite.
Tetranive Grenades have a short delay before exploding and sending a shower of shrapnel in all directions. Unlike Warhawk's MK37 Fragmentation Grenade, the Tetranite Grenade does not explode on contact with enemy troops.
Earning kills with the Tetranite Grenade increases your mastery of it.

|Kill an enemy with a Tetranite Grenade from at least 200 feet away.|
- Since grenades don't explode instantly, they can be bounced off walls or inside bunkers to take out units behind cover.
- Tetranite Grenades "replace" the Grenade (MK37 Fragmentation Grenade) from Warhawk.
- These explosives are nearly as effective as M.A.W. Rocket Launchers when a Hawk is on the ground. If an enemy is inside a mech, and has landed, it only takes two well-placed grenades to destroy one. It can also take a grenade and a couple of rifle shots to easily eliminate infantry.
- They only explode a short time after they have landed, never detonating in the air. The longer the time it was in the air beforehand, the shorter this delay.
