The Torpedo looks like a brilliant glowing blue fireball, possibly powered by volatile Rift Energy, that moves slowly towards its target. The impact site is highlighted in a white circle. When the Torpedo hits, a large blue-white explosions occurs, along with a ripple distortion originating from the blast site.
The Torpedo is a very powerful weapon, and it can take out large sections of bases with its large AoE radius. The only thing that cancels it out is the Shield Generator, but while everything within the bubble shield is spared, the generator is destroyed in the process. The Torpedo affects structures and vehicles the most.
The weapon must be charged-up before it can be fired. During charging, the player has limited movement and is vulnerable to attack. Small aiming adjustments can be made. Once fired, the Torpedo moves slowly in a straight line towards its target.
Another interesting quality of the Torpedo is that it can be locked-onto and shot down.
Earning kills with the Torpedo increases your mastery of it.

- You can fly into a Shield Generator's bubble and fire the Torpedo there, destroying the generator and the surrounding structures. You receive little damage from this risky attack. It is unknown if this exploit will be fixed.
- The Torpedo has no analogue in Warhawk, but it behaves similarly to the AS-3 Tow Missile System and the XK-2 Directed Energy Weapon (Lightning Gun).
